Time lapse calculator
Instructions:
- Enter the duration of the process to be filmed.
- Enter the number of daylight hours per day. The calculation assumes that processes of days and weeks will be filmed during non-daylight hours, but that those frames won't be used in the final movie. It calculates the total number of frames so that you know whether you have room on your memory card. If you are using artificial lighting, long exposures or don't mind the dark frames and all of the photos are going to be used just set this to 24.
- Enter the desired duration for time lapse and the frame rate (default = 30fps).
- Press calculate to display the recommended interval between frames, total number of frames produced and the number during taken daylight.
See note of caution here about camera shutters.
